Meet epics founderMandy Richardson is the founder of EPIC Coordination. She has extensive professional experience working as a Counsellor and Support Coordinator across a broad range of issues.
Mandy has worked in community and government non-for-profit sectors with Children and Youth. Mandy has a passion for building a socially impactful business that can help people and their communities thrive. Mandy is committed to ensuring that all people have the opportunity to participate and engage in community and to benefit from basic human rights. Human rights are a set of principles concerned with equality and fairness; they develop our potential as human beings. They are about living a life free from fear, harassment or discrimination and provide us with principles of dignity, equality and mutual respect. Mandy has the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, she is able to put herself in the shoes of the client and understand the situation from their point of view. Mandy believes her best attributes as a Counsellor are flexibility, empathy and advocacy. Mandy believes to be a great counsellor you must integrate all aspects of effective counselling practices. By masterfully developing the therapeutic alliance and build on the professional relationship, instilling hope, center on achieving objectives, evidence-based practices, out-of-session change opportunities and to make sure treatment gains are maintained long after termination to help the participant achieve positive outcomes. |
